Overview
Baby & Mom Mobile Clinics (BAM) is a non-profit, 501c3, organization found in Ghana, West Africa to address reproductive, infant and child health needs in underdeveloped communities and provide free healthcare to women, infants and children.
BAM provides prenatal and postnatal care, pediatric care including immunizations and gynecology services such as pap smears. BAM also provides women with a safe place to deliver their babies to avoid dangerous home births. If a patient needs further care, BAM will help coordinate a referral of care. While we focus on treating out patients, we also provide them with education and resources to maintain a healthy life. Our vision for the future is to achieve quality healthcare for women and children in poor and underserved communities.
